TROLLEY RIDE TICKETS
The trolley will leave every half hour from 1:00 - 5:00 pm. The tickets are $10/person, and the trolley holds 38 passengers. Each person is required to have a ticket to board, regardless of age (including infants on laps).
Gather a group of family and friends and take a festive trip around town! This year will feature a special guest who will guide the 20 minute tour highlighting some historic and notable spots in Swarthmore!
Please MAKE SURE TO PRINT THIS RECEIPT AND BRING IT AS YOUR TICKET TO RIDE THE TROLLEY. THIS WILL ALLOW FOR FASTER BOARDING.
Also, please arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled departure time.

Home for the Holidays is Swarthmore’s annual holiday tradition featuring trolley rides, a traditional Klezmer band, Kwanzaa drum circle, strolling singers from Media Chamber Chorale, Strath Haven High School Silvertones, and Wesley AME Choir, the quaint Park-a-Pub with cocktails for sale, a visit from Santa Claus and fire truck parade, the Nutcracker Ballet, activities and performances at the Park Ave Community (PAC) Center, and so much more!
The day will also feature the Reindeer Dash 1-mile run/walk through the streets of Swarthmore on December 7. Wear your ugliest holiday sweater or come dressed up as a snowflake, snowman, elf, or more! The more creative, the better - costume prizes will be awarded to the best dress individuals and groups.
REINDEER DASH 1-mile Run/Walk!
The Reindeer Dash 1-mile run/walk is the kick-off event for Home for the Holidays. The course will commence and conclude at the corner of Dartmouth Ave. & Park Ave. Costumes are strongly encouraged and add to the festivities! Prizes for the best group and individual costumes!
Race day registration and check-in will open on Saturday, December 7 at 11:00 am, Race at 12:00.
Race participants +21 will receive a coupon for a drink at Ship Bottom Brewery!
